Hello everyone. This is just a reminder of our Chapter 15 meeting on the 28th of September, 7pm at the Signature Flight Support FBO, New Century Air Center. We’ll do a re-cap of the Barnstormer contest with a report from our treasurer on finances. Also, a remnder the aerobatic box will be open on October 3rd for anyone wishing to practice or just get together for flying in the box.
So, we’ll look forward to seeing you at our meeting this coming Monday at 7pm.

Just a note to remind everyone of the chapter15 meeting Monday June 29th at the Signature FBO, New Century Air Center (IXD) @ 19:00hrs.
Also, plan to join us Saturday, July 4th, 9am to 4pm for food, flying and fun in the aerobatic box over New Century Air Center. We’ll gather at the Signature FBO. Bagels and juice will be available in the morning with the aerobatic box active from 9am – 4pm. Brats and dogs will be served at noon. So plan to bring family and friends to IXD and share in some fun flying good company.

Hello everyone. The intent this month was to have had an IAC15 meeting in conjunction with our play day on Saturday, the 6th of June. Since the weather didn’t cooperate in the morning that day, we didn’t have the meeting. So, I’d like to schedule a Chapter 15 meeting for June 29th, a week from tomorrow. We’ll get caught up with various projects concerning the contest and hopefully tie up some loose ends. There are some key jobs that still need to be filled. I hope everyone can make it. Just to reiterate, we’ll have a Chapter 15 meeting Monday evening, June 29th at 19:00hrs at the Signature Flight Support FBO, on the West side of the New Century Air Center.
Also, we will have a play day Saturday, July 4th at New Century Air Center. We’ll plan to have coffee, juice and bagels in the morning and brats and hot dogs with chips and potato salad at noon. The aerobatic box will be open from 09:00 to 16:00. IAC members from surrounding areas are invited to join us as well as friends and relatives. So, plan to join us for a picnic/fly-in/playday on the 4th of July.

Our February meeting will be held, as usual, the 4th Monday of the month; February 23rd; 19:00 hrs. at the Signature Flight Support FBO, New Century Airport. Hello Chapter 15 members. Just a note to bring all of you up to date with the happenings within our chapter.
1) The date for our Christmas party will be January 10th, 2015 and will be held at John and Beverly Wittenborn’s home in Olathe Ks. Time, address and directions will follow later. So put January 10th on your calendars and join us for some holiday cheer.
2) The chapter officers were elected at the November 24th meeting. They are: President, John Wittenborn; Vice-President, Rod Flinn; Secretary, David Maine; Treasurer, Lee Crites; Membership Chairman/Young Eagles advisor, John Ostmeyer.
3) Monthly meetings will once again be held on the 4th Monday of each month and play-days will be held the 1st Saturday of the month beginning in April. A Fly-Away breakfast or lunch may be substituted for one or two play-days.
4) Chapter #15 will host the 2015 Harold Neumann Aerobatic Contest on August 29th & 30th
5) Cahpter #15 will offer a seminar in Design and Flying the “Free Style” aerobatic program in February, 2015
6) Chapter #15 will host a 2-day Formation Flying Clinic in March of 2015. The clinic will be structured with ground and flight training on each of the 2 days.
Specific dates, locations and times for the above events will be announce at a later time.
So, another busy year with lots of activities in the works. Keep your oil warm and ear to the internet as we may activate the aerobatic box on a particularly pleasant flying day this Winter.
Our next and last chapter15 meeting of this year will be December 22nd. We’ll plan to have cakes and cookies and hot apple cider. So plan to join us for desert next month, December 22nd.
