Hello everyone. I’d like to have an IAC Chapter 15 meeting this month on Monday the 27th at Signature FBO to discuss scheduling Summer play days, club gatherings and cookouts as well as the aerobatic box and flight procedures. Paul Holland, the IXD tower chief, indicated he would be available most anytime this month and would be included in our discussion. I’d like to have an idea of how many can attend the meeting before Paul commits to attending. If you would please respond to this query I’d appreciate it very much. I’m sorry to report the passing of John Handly’s wife, Carol.
Plans and information for the celebration Carol’s life are shown below.
Carol Keeler Handly, age 76 and resident of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away
in the company of her family October 08, 2016 at the Kansas City Hospice House.
She is survived by her husband, John Handly; son and daughter, Mike Handly and Beth Peck; grandchildren, Davis Peck and Julia Peck; and sister and brother, Joyce Mott and Steven Keeler.
Carol’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service and reception on October 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Stanley, 14895 Antioch Road in Overland Park, a private internment will take place at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
memorials may be made to Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care; the American Cancer Society; and P.E.O. International.

Hello everyone. Due to lack of participants for flying in the box tomorrow, the aerobatic box over IXD will not be open.
I’d like to remind everyone of the Vintage Aircraft Association pancake breakfast at the Gardner airport at 09:30 tomorrow, Saturday October 1st. If you’re hungry tomorrow, or just looking for something to do, head over to K34 for some flapjacks or just a cup of coffee with some truly good people.

Hello everyone.
There will be a Chapter 15 meeting Monday, September 26th; 7pm, at Signature Flight Support. There are a number of subjects to be discussed; purposed rule changes and national membership promotions.
Also, the aerobatic box will be available for practice on Saturday, October 1st; the same day as the CAF Open Hangar day. I’ll try to arrange a new location for our base of operations so stay tuned for a further announcement.
