The airspace waiver over the New Century Airport (KIXD) has been renewed for the remainder of 2013 through the end of October, 2015.

There are a few changes to the updated waiver.  The FAA has established that there are some new populated areas underneath the waivered airspace which cannot be included in the waiver.  Therefore, those areas have been excluded (from the surface on up) from the waiver and are outlined and highlighted in yellow.

The actual aerobatic box remains the same as in previous waivers.

As always, in order to fly in the box, you will be required to read, understand and sign the waiver log at each playday or contest.

Greetings, all. 

Warm weather this weekend combined with bout of Spring Fever has generated a request to open the box at New Century.

The box will be open on Sunday, the 13th, from noon to 4pm.  You’ll need to check in with Paul and sign the waiver prior to participating.

Work on your ’11 sequence or just participate in some unsolicited critiquing!
