Hello everyone.

Just a note to inform you of a change to our meeting location on Monday, the 27th of April. The KC Aerobatic club will meet at the Gardner airport in the Vintage Aircraft Chapter 16 hangar at 7pm.

Roger Disrud will give a presentation on his experience in the A-10 and specifically on formation flying.

The Vintage Aircraft hangar is equipped with audio-visual equipment which Roger will use for his presentation; hence the change in venue for our April meeting. The program is guaranteed to hold your attention.

Also, just a reminder, chapter dues for 2015 are $25. If your dues aren’t current, Lee will gladly accept that payment.

Put Monday the 27th, 7pm, at Gardner Airport on your calendar and we’ll look forward to seeing you then.

Also, the play-day for May is scheduled. The aerobatic box over IXD will be active on Saturday, May 2nd from 09:00 to 16:00 CDT. Plan to join us a day of flying practice.

Hello everyone. Just a reminder of our KC chapter 15 meeting tomorrow, March 23rd at 7pm, Signature Flight Support on the West side of New Century Airport (KIXD). On the agenda; viewing the film “Flying the Feathered Edge”, flying with R.A. Bob Hoover, and planning for the Barnstormer contest coming up the end of August.

Also, our first play-day of the year will be Saturday, April 4th. The aerobatic box will be open over IXD from 09:00 to 16:00. We invite all IAC members to join us for a day of flying. So, plan to attend the meeting Monday evening and put the April 4th play-day on your calendars as well.

Just a note to chapter 15 members and friends, our monthly meeting (and the last of 2014) will be held this coming Monday; 19:00hrs. at New Century Airport, Signature Flight Support FBO on the West side of the airport. We’ll do a little planning for the Christmas party next month on January 10th (formal invitation to be published next week); review the events that are planned for 2015 and partake of some hot chocolate, cider and Christmas cookies and cakes. Please plan to attend.

Hello everyone. Just a short note to remind you all of our Chapter 15 meeting at 7pm at the New Century Airport; Signature FBO on the West side of the airport. We have several items on the agenda: 1) Due to busy schedules in December, our annual Christmas party will be held in January. Date, place and time will be announce soon. 2) Selection of Chapter 15 officers for 2015; 3) Recognition of our chapter pilots who participated in the National contest; plaques will be presented at the Christmas party in January.

Just a reminder to everyone of the Aerobatic Club meeting Monday evening at 7pm at the Signature FBO on the West side of New Century Airport. Agenda items include preliminary plans for our contest in September and play day event next Saturday the 28th. We will plan to open the aerobatic box Saturday over the New Century airport at 9am until 5pm and have fruit and juice available in the morning and brats and hotdogs on the grill at high noon. Saturday’s play day is the rescheduled day due to bad weather the first of this month and will take the place of the play-day normally held the first weekend in July. So plan to attend the meeting tomorrow night and hope to see you at the play day on Saturday.

Hello everyone. I hope you had a safe and enjoyable memorial day holiday.

Just a reminder of our IAC Chapter 15 play-day to be held this Saturday, June 7th, at the New Century Airport and Signature FBO on the West side of the field. The aerobatic box over the airport will be open to all IAC member pilots from 09:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs. Area pilots and friends interested in learning about aerobatic flying and participating in IAC activities are invited to join us as well. We’ll have juice and fruit and cereal bars in the morning and Brats & Burgers ready to eat around high noon (food donations accepted). In case of an itinerate rain shower, there should be plenty of hangar space to take cover. So come on out and enjoy a fun day of flying.

Also a reminder for our contest pilots of the Seward, Ne. contest June 20th thru the 22nd. Put that date on your calendar as well.

Our next Chapter 15 meeting will be held June 23rd (the 4th Monday of the month) at the Signature Flight Support facility on the West side of the New Century Airport. Preparations for the Harold Newman contest will be on the agenda as well as a possible guest speaker. Plan to join us then as well.

Hello everyone. Just a note to say that due to the approaching Memorial Day weekend, our Chapter 15 meeting on May 26th will be cancelled. We will be planning a “Play Day” and “cook-out” (Brats & Burgers) on June 7th and invite flyers and friends from around the region to join us. Our last play day was a big success and we look forward to seeing you the 1st Saturday in June for our next gathering.
